90th Church Anniversary July 2024

We are elated to announce the 90th Church Anniversary celebration the entire month of July 2024.

Each Sunday of July, we are in celebration of the “Faith in Action” of 90 years.  See the events below and invite family or friends to commensurate the moth long celebration.

1st Sunday – July 7th
“Let the Celebration Begin”
Theme: Faith In Action
Scripture: And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. – Hebrews 11:6 (ESV)
Join us for a Cake and Punch Fellowship in the fellowship hall immediately after service.

2nd Sunday – July 14th
Members Only Fellowship Meal
2:00 p.m.
Xtravagant Events Center
4258 S. Third St. (across from old Southwest Twin Theater)

Members will gather for Reflection, Fellowship, Food and Fun.
Dress Code: Business Casual (dress up if you like). Color theme Royal Blue, White and Silver.

3rd Sunday – July 21st
Friends and Family Day Worship – Celebration at the Redbirds Game
Invite friends and family to worship with us at 9:30 a.m. for our special tribute to some special members and at our 10:15 a.m Worship service. Then join us at 1:00 p.m. for fun at the Memphis Redbirds game.  Tickets $15 Per Person (payment needed by Thursday July 11, 2024)
Group seating under awning for maximum shading, Church name and 90th Anniversary Celebration recognition on Jumbo Tron all youth ages 12 and under will receive a free ice cream sandwich upon entry.
In Place of 9:30 Prayer: Prayer of Thanksgiving for those that paved the way and for where God has brought us to and a special tribute to members 80 years old and older.

Saturday before 4th Sunday – July 27th
(Time TBD, but as early as possible to beat the heat)
Neighborhood Canvas. We will gather at the church to canvas the neighborhood passing out evangelical, church informational and invitational flyers.

4th Sunday – July 28th
Food Truck Sunday Fun Day (This is a cash only event)
Food Truck on church lot, variety of fun food items for purchase. Grab and go or hang around for fun and fellowship, capturing memories with traditional photos and the new innovative 360 photo booth. Please fill out Food Truck food interest form.
